Are You Well Informed?

Should you brush your teeth before or after breakfast?

Answer: Both. Ideally, you should brush before and after a meal. Brushing before removes any plaque or bacteria buildup, so food particles have a harder time sticking to teeth. Brushing after removes those particles, as well as any additional bacteria — just be sure to wait at least 30 minutes post-acidic food or drinks like coffee. Packing a toothbrush and toothpaste for on-the-go moments can make it easier to form a habit of before-and-after brushing.
