This past month, I’ve gotten really into layering all of my summer jewelry. On the days when getting dressed in the heat feels unbearable, jewelry is a nice, sweat-free way to add to an outfit. Not to mention, these colorful pieces provide extra joy to my day, and in return, amp up my confidence. Because it’s so easy to add these pieces to cart, I’m sharing items under $115 that I’m loving and are on the more affordable end.

The puffy initial necklace I wear with everything…

These bubble initial necklaces are all the rage this summer, and I wrote about this one in our Skimm Shopping newsletter. Its beads are dainty, but the initial charm is still noticeable. The charm itself is made of 18-karat filled gold with multicolored gemstone beads. The best part: It comes from a small, woman-owned business. ($85, Active Artistry via Etsy)

A beaded necklace I’ve been eyeing for months now…

I feel like J.Crew jewelry was really a thing back in the day and now, it’s coming back. This chunky beaded necklace from them feels nostalgic, and I think it’d look great paired with a basic sundress. ($69.50, J.Crew)

A modern take on a pearl bracelet…

Pearls are having  a moment this summer, and I love that this turquoise-accented bracelet (also from J.Crew) feels modern. At one point, there was a matching necklace, but it’s so popular it sold out. I’m opting for this style instead to pair with a classic gold bangle. ($59.50, J.Crew)

Mon Eté

Some hoop earring from a brand we love…

Our editors swear by Mon Eté, a Brooklyn-based, woman-owned brand, with pearl jewelry that’s easy to wear. Its Ellie Earrings are 14-karat plated gold hoops that have freshwater baroque pearl charms. Wear them on their own or layer them with your everyday ear stack. Check out its magnetic clasp necklaces, too. ($115, Mon Eté)

BaubleBar

The adult version of a friendship bracelet…

Leave it to BaubleBar to always have the cutest, stackable summer jewelry. This $44 custom style reminds me of a candy bracelet you can add puffy letters to. If you have a late-summer bachelorette, these would make adorable gifts. Just make sure to account for the three week shipping time. ($44, BaubleBar)

BonBonWhims

An initial ring I’m eyeing for my bridal era…

I just discovered BonBonWhims and its bright, costume-like statement jewelry. This Frosty Lucky Ring has a clear acrylic base with bedazzled initial charms. As a 2026 bride, I’m looking for more subtle accessories that I can rewear, and this one is calling my name. ($78, BonBonWhims)

Little Words Project

Another bracelet layer that’d make a great gift…

Little Words Project bracelets are one of my go-to gifts for my mom. She loves to add to her stack and layer them with other bracelets. You can pick the style, word, and size, and I love that most of their designs are in the $25 price range. ($25, Little Words Project)

Ana Luisa

A shell necklace you’ll actually rewear…

When it comes to shell jewelry, I don’t want anything that’s too mermaid-like. This pendant from Ana Luisa is made of 14-karat gold on brass, so you can wear this shell style all year without it being jarring. Plus, if you have sensitive skin, the brand is hypoallergenic. ($80, Ana Luisa)

Some marble statement earrings…

I never thought I needed marble hoops, but then I saw these ones also from Ana Luisa. These are a subtle (and easy) way to add color into your wardrobe without it being overpowering. They’re water- and tarnish-resistant, too. ($85, Ana Luisa)

Super Smalls

A DIY bead kit under $25…

Yes, this Super Smalls kit is technically for kids. But the bead styles and charms are so adorable and on trend, that I would argue they’re just as great for adults. The kit comes with everything you need to make one necklace or two bracelets, including beads, charms, and elastic. Buy a couple for a fun, screen-free afternoon with friends. ($22, Super Smalls)

Madewell

A chunky charm necklace that looks expensive…

We are still seeing charm necklaces pretty much everywhere — even after last summer’s Brooklyn Charm hyperfixation. This one from Madewell has a substantial chain and five charms. It’s the best way to make a white tee look more exciting. ($58, Madewell)

Madewell

A beaded necklace with a glass charm…

Okay Madewell, I really see you. The lemon charm on this necklace is one of the chicest charms I’ve ever seen, so I am heavily considering this necklace to pair with a dainty gold necklace. It’s made of semiprecious stone beads, and the carabiner charm at the center is a unique touch. ($64, Madewell)

Not your average gold hoops…

If your safe space is gold hoops, might I suggest this hammered style from Amazon? Between their asymmetric shape and matte finish, they’ll add flair to your outfit in a way that isn’t intimidating to style. Bonus points for being under $10 and hypoallergenic. ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)
