What I Tested…
Ozlo Sleepbuds ($299, Originally $349)
Why I Tested…

How I Tested…
I wore the earbuds for over three weeks, using them nightly to a) see how comfortable they were, and b) see how well they diminished ambient noise.
Test Results…
Little to no pain. This is by far the most comfortable pair of earbuds I’ve slept in, which genuinely shocked me. As a side sleeper, I can feel most buds pretty quickly and over the course of a night, they can get very uncomfortable. My boyfriend wears these and I sincerely hate them. I’ve tried these and they’re fine as a non-electronic pair. I’ve also tried this pair and found them too bulky to sleep in. So I went into this with low expectations. The silicone tips that came attached were too big for me, so I sized down to the smallest tips and can sleep comfortably with them in. I wake up with little to no pain, which is a huge win.
Adjustable volume and sleep sounds. Since these are also headphones, you can download the app to sync them to your phone. They can act as an alarm, but mostly I use the sleep sounds to help block out the motor of my AC. There are options like beach walk, rolling thunder, air waves, gentle ocean, and more. I love that you can set a timer, so sound only plays for two hours. Once I’m asleep, I don’t need sounds to stay asleep, so the earbuds will shut off and conserve battery.
Battery life. Battery life is up to 10 hours, depending on how long you have them out of the case (they charge within). So I tend to charge them every other day.
Adjustable silicone tips. You’ll get four tips that range in size, so finding a secure, comfortable fit is possible. My ears are tiny, so the smallest size works best for me.

Sidenotes…
Ozlo has plans to provide sleep data within the next few weeks. Right now there’s a place in the app where you can turn on notifications for that.
A USB-C cable is provided and there’s also a travel case available.
Ozlo Sleepbuds can stream anything traditional headphones can, including Netflix, Spotify, Audible, etc.
