As part of our May Editor Obsessions, I wrote about a hand soap that has “reached cult status in my household,” my household consisting of me. But it sparked the idea to share products that our editors consider to be cult status, even if it’s just among ourselves. These are items that we’ve been using for years and will continue to use forever. And we’re sharing them with you. Join our cult.

An allergy medicine that actually works…
“This is not a glamorous product, but allergy season almost killed me this year, and I figured out that the allergy medicine I had relied on for years wasn’t working anymore. I switched to Allegra and immediately my symptoms started to subside. I can’t be the only one who had no idea they needed to change periodically, so if you’re struggling with allergies, I would try this one.” —Martha Upton ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)

A blush that’s so easy to apply…
“I spent a long time being scared of blush, back when blush blindness was not a thing and my overly rosy cheeks already stood out from the crowd. I’m happy to say I have since made peace with blush, and it’s in large part due to the Flush Balm. I was always concerned that I would apply too much and head out looking like Strawberry Shortcake. But with this one, the cream pigment swipes on easily and instantly melts into the skin, making it buildable and extremely natural-looking. It’s also safe for acne-prone skin and doesn’t fade as the day goes on.” —Martha Upton ($30, Merit)

A floss that gives us that post-dentist feeling…
“I have officially jumped on the Cocofloss bandwagon and there’s no turning back. Because it’s a textured, woven floss that’s coated in wax and coconut oil, it leaves your teeth feeling so clean. It feels like your teeth are being scrubbed, and I actually notice a difference in how my mouth feels when I go off of it. It comes in countless flavors, but I love classic mint.” —Margo Ghertner ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)

A bralette that feels like wearing nothing…
“While I’m always trying to get away with not wearing a bra, I also like to feel supported, especially when I’m running errands or making a coffee run. This bralette is the best of both worlds, since I barely notice I’m wearing it. It doesn’t have any wires or cups, and the waistband never digs into my sides. Plus, it has adjustable straps so the fit is just right. I love that it’s more low-cut than most bralettes, so I can even wear it with a V-neck tee.” —Martha Upton ($46, Harper Wilde)

A salon-quality shampoo that saves our hair…
“I’ve been bleaching my hair blonde for three years (and dyeing it various colors for over a decade before that). I partly credit this shampoo with not only keeping my hair on my head, but also with helping it grow super long, super quickly, with no breakage whatsoever. Unlike other strengthening shampoos, this doesn’t leave my hair feeling like straw — it’s a hydrating formula that makes my hair feel soft, full, and shiny. (It’s when I don’t use this shampoo that my hair feels gross.) It’s on the pricier side, but it’s a true salon-quality brand — the same exact stuff my stylist uses when I’m in her chair.” —Caroline Goldstein ($45, Kevin Murphy)

A sleep shirt that’s worth the price…
“I’m normally someone who sleeps in big T-shirts, but I’ve been on a mission to level up my sleepwear, so I decided to give Negative Underwear a try. As soon as I slipped on this boyfriend tee, I was obsessed. The material is unbelievably soft and feels cool on your skin, it’s surprisingly sexy, and looks cute when paired with the matching boyshorts or boyfriend shorts. Yes, it’s pricey, but you can even throw it on with a pair of denim shorts and wear it out of the house. —Martha Upton ($110, Negative Underwear)

The pimple patch we always go back to…
“Generally my skin is very good, but I’ve done a lot of work to get it there. The one thing I don’t think I’ll ever be able to accomplish is getting rid of whiteheads during the summertime. The combo of makeup, sweat, sunscreen, and whatever other irritants land on my face living in New York City makes it nearly impossible to finish my day without a lovely little whitehead nestled to the right or left of my nostrils. Because of this, I’ve tried all of the pimple patches on the market, and for me, Hero Cosmetics takes first place. These patches really suck the gunk out and grip on. They don’t slide around in my sleep like many others I’ve tested. They come in a thinner version, nose strips, area patches, and more. They also have a dark mark patch. I love.” —Alexandra Napoli ($12.99, Hero Cosmetics)

A body exfoliator I use weekly…
“I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve been using this body exfoliator weekly for years. It combines physical exfoliants (pumice) with chemical exfoliants (AHAs and BHAs) to give me the smoothest skin ever. I normally struggle with razor bumps, but when I use this the night before I shave, the irritation is significantly reduced. I’ve been using the eucalyptus scent for a while since the fragrance-free version has been out of stock, but it’s finally back, and I can’t wait to stock up. —Martha Upton ($30, Nécessaire)

One editor’s all-time favorite sunscreen…
“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this barely-there sunscreen from Supergoop! is the only sunscreen that deserves cult status for me this summer. It has a velvety finish and leaves zero white streaks. I especially love that I don’t have to immediately wash my hands after, so I can apply (and reapply) before immediately picking up my beach read.” — Alessandra Rey ($38+, Supergoop!)

A candle I light every day…
“I went to the Amalfi Coast for my best friend’s wedding in May and have been experiencing moments of post-trip blues ever since. When I light this candle, it brings me right back to her welcome party under the lemon trees, eating gelato by the coast, and drinking limoncello. It’s the perfect summer candle that fills your home with vacation vibes, even if you’re just headed to the couch.” —Martha Upton ($48, Nordstrom)

Our emotional support yoga mat…
“Remember that AI action figure trend? When my boyfriend made one for me, he included this yoga mat as one of my accessories. This thing has been my security blanket over the past fifteen years that I’ve been practicing daily yoga. The 6-milimeter thickness is absolutely perfect — it provides enough cushioning for your joints, but still allows you to feel connected to the ground. It doesn’t slip, no matter how sweaty you get, thanks to the soft, textured surface. Plus, it doesn’t make your skin smell like rubber — my personal pet peeve. Not an exaggeration to say that I can’t live without it.” —Caroline Goldstein ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)

A portable fan keeping us cool…
“I asked two other editors to test out this misting fan and the results do not lie. It’s lightweight and wireless so you can take it with you anywhere. It also has three speeds and a battery that lasts well over an hour — or eight, depending on your selected power level. The misting feature might be my favorite part (aside from its eye-catching lilac color), which makes the air feel so much cooler and keeps you feeling fresh on those hot, sweaty days.” — Alessandra Rey ($119.99, Shark)

A set of fidget toys we keep close by…
“I’m not going to lie, this month has been a little stressful for me. And because of that, I’ve found myself reaching for these Odds Silicone Magnets from Speks more than ever before. They’re weighty magnets covered in soft silicone. I find that they’re satisfying to play with, and on the days when I’m extra antsy, they’re calming to hold and fidget with, too. I keep them on hand for therapy and meeting-heavy days.” —Margo Ghertner ($24.95, Speks)
