An oversized linen button-down that’s perfect for layering…
One of my favorite hacks for combatting pit stains is adding a light button-down shirt over a tank or sports bra to keep you cool and breezy. This shirt’s sleeves come with button cuffs that make it easy to roll them up (and keep them up). I especially love that this shirt is made of 100% linen and holds up well in the wash. ($55+, Gap)

A machine-washable linen maxi dress that’s under $20…
If we love anything more than lightweight fabric, it’s lightweight, quality fabric that is kind to our wallets. This pull-on dress has adjustable straps and two side pockets for comfortable, all-day wear. Add your favorite denim jacket and strappy sandals to take it from day to night. ($10+, Walmart)

A moisture-wicking bodysuit I swear by…
I tested this bodysuit two years ago and swear by it to this day. It’s made of a buttery-soft, skin-like fabric and has stretchy straps. But don’t let the material fool you: This bodysuit is supportive enough to wear without a bra (yes, even if you’re top-heavy, like me). I consider this my go-to for outdoor concerts, picnics in the hot sun, or underneath sweats when I simply can’t anymore. ($60, Skims)

A sleeveless top to dress up any bottoms…
If you’re looking for something loose-fitting, meet the day-to-night top of your dreams. This cute sleeveless shirt comes in twice as many colors as it did last year — all of which are easy to pair with denim or a neutral-colored skirt and flats. Its sheer lace details make for good air flow, too. ($78, Free People)

A summery mini shirt dress that hides pit stains…
We keep seeing pleated dresses everywhere, but this one has a special place in our carts. The dramatic, oversized sleeves work wonders when hiding pit stains, while the crisp pleats and colorful design distracts from sweat stains anywhere else. Add a clean white sneak and your favorite handbag for a look that’s effortlessly chic. ($178, Anthropologie)

A crochet cardigan you can throw over anything…
This zip-up knitted cardigan provides just enough warmth to prevent AC shivers, but allows for excellent air flow so you won’t feel stifled. It only comes in one color, but we’d opt for this neutral shade anyways. ($62.99, Gap Factory)

A lightweight mesh bra for hot summer days…
The last thing you need when it’s well over 80 degrees is a stiff wire poking you. This barely-there bra is flexible with distraction-free underwire. Because it’s made of both nylon and spandex, it has just the right amount of give. If you’re looking for a new summer-y bra, this is it. ($49, Cuup)

A mini dress with a built-in bra and skort…
Less is best when it comes to layering up this summer. This Abercrombie & Fitch mini dress slips right on and instantly gives you a put-together look with little effort. The straps are adjustable, the built-in bra pads are removable, and the cotton-blend fabric is stretchy and nonrestrictive. ($70, Abercrombie & Fitch)

The linen pants of our dreams…
We’re not sure if we love these pant’s thick stretchy waistband, wide pockets, or loose linen material more, but simply put: We’re obsessed. Whether you pair these pants with your favorite tee, tank, or one-piece bathing suit, you’re basically guaranteed to get compliments thanks to their flattering shape and vintage-style wash. ($78, Free People)

The linen *shorts* of our dreams…
These shorts from Old Navy have everything you love about breezy linen pants — with less fabric. They don’t have pesky buttons or zippers, so they’re easy to pull on and wear with a tight tank or loose button-down. We’re giving them extra brownie points for having pockets both in the front and the back. ($29.99, Old Navy)

A slouchy, airy onesie…
Meet our ideal one-and-done look. This onesie is loose enough (hello, dropped armholes) to wear over a tank, bralette, or a bathing suit top. Same goes for its pockets — they’re so roomy you could leave your purse or tote at home. Now all we have to do is perfect the messy bun to go with it. ($70, Free People)

A moisture-wicking sports bra that doubles as a top…
This is the perfect top to wear out when you don’t feel like wearing a real bra or more than one layer. The cropped fit makes it great for both workouts and going out. (We’d recommend loose-fitting, high-waisted pants to get that hourglass shape.) Given that it’s technically athleisure, it’s quick-drying, breathable, and literally pulls sweat away from the body — which is always a win in our book. ($56, Girlfriend Collective)

A casual cropped tee you’ll want in every color…
There are many reasons why this oversized cropped tee has over 1.7K reviews, but a few highlights include its 27 different colorways, versatile boxy fit, and partially pre-rolled short sleeves. It’s long enough to cover any bra underneath and tuck into high-waisted shorts or pants. ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)

A durable jacket you can dress up or dress down…
This isn’t your parent’s old windbreaker. This barely-there jacket will protect you from windy, wet weather without weighing you down (or killing your look). It’s thin enough to layer over or under virtually anything, but it won’t snag or tear on you. For days with iffy weather, you can fold it up and throw it in your bag — it’s that pliable. ($139, Athleta)
