EDITOR'S NOTE

Fashion You’ll Actually Wear Week is in full swing, temperatures are dropping, and I’m finally getting into Nora Ephron Fall. Today I’m covering more throw-on-and-go pieces that’ll make picking out an outfit an afterthought. Plus, a couple of things I’ve recently added to my rotation that are equal parts cozy and functional:

Universal Thread Sweater Tank

Universal Thread’s Button-Front Sweater Vest

A soft tank that can be worn on its own or as a base layer.

One of our editor’s best finds from Fashion You’ll Actually Wear Week? This sweater-tank from Target. It’s the perfect piece for this time of year because it’ll serve as a warm base layer in the morning, but won’t be stifling by the afternoon. Pick from charcoal gray or tan…or both because it’s only $22. Buy it before it sells out.

Three Totally Random Things

Check out three pieces we’re loving from Fashion You’ll Actually Wear Week:

Reads

Lovely One by Ketanji Brown Jacksin

Lovely One by Ketanji Brown Jackson

  • The story: This is not your typical political memoir. In Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s debut memoir, she covers her career that began in a law office and eventually led to her becoming the first Black woman appointed to the Supreme Court (though, fun fact, she also considered becoming a Broadway actress). Jackson discusses how she navigates motherhood in such a high-level job (to put it lightly) and her legacy as the granddaughter of small business owners in the segregated South. Don't miss this one.
