Which is better: An airline credit card or a travel rewards card?

This can vary depending on specific circumstances, but if your goal is to travel more and you have a bucket list that is a mile long, then a travel rewards card is the best place to begin. This way, you don’t lock yourself into a single airline that may or may not have availability for your dream flight. When you earn points with a travel rewards card, you get access to transfer partners that allow you to redeem your points with several different airlines or hotels instead of locking you into only one.

"We hit two of our money goals last year: 1) Investing $100,000, including retirement and taxable brokerage account contributions, and 2) Investing $12,000 in 529 accounts for our two kids. Feels very good!"
— Heather D (CA). Bonus: A 529 plan can boost your kid’s retirement, too. It’s a gift that keeps on giving.

One of the best investments I've made as a creative entrepreneur was my Canon EOS 70D DSLR Camera. In 2016, I had dreams of starting my own YouTube channel, and purchasing a DSLR was my first step. Eight years of videos and a few hundred thousand followers and subscribers later, I still use my Canon 70D to shoot most of my content.
How much did you spend on it?
$1,132.45 in 2016. (Currently $598 on Amazon.)
Why do you consider it a worthy investment?
Investing in yourself and your creative dreams is always worth it. I've been able to use my DSLR for not only personal content creation, but also for various other streams of income. It's still an essential part of my creative process.
